We understand where the skepticism about our “free” claim comes from and rest assured that we are not trying to scam anyone. This application is supported by corporate advertising sponsors who want to place their product messages in front of good, quality customers. By providing us with some basic information when you signup, we are able to match advertisers and their offers to a more targeted audience. This should, in turn, result in you receiving ads that are more specialized to your tastes and preferences.
Is FishBuster full of annoying "pop-up" ads?
The ads that we display are prominent in the application, but never annoying. One of our major design goals was to make the ads less intrusive to the application user. Just like you, nothing irritates us quite like those nasty little "pop-up" ads. You will not find any of those in FishBuster.
Am I going to get SPAM emails if I signup?
No, we do not send unsolicited emails nor do we sell your email address to spammers. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
However with that being said, we do send our members a monthly newsletter as well as exclusive offers from our sponsors. Upon signing up, you will start receiving these updates from us about new versions of the application and any additional features that we add. You are free to unsubscribe at any time. But communication with our sponsors is how we are able to keep this application free (not to mention how we can feed the programmers).
Does FishBuster work on a Mac?
Not at this time. We are looking into porting the application but at this point there is not a delivery date.
Will using FishBuster make me cool?
There is no statistical data to back up this claim, but we have a hunch that it will.
Using FishBuster does not guarantee success. We give you the tools, but you still have to catch the fish yourself. We also make no guarantees on whether or not using FishBuster will make you more popular with the ladies...but it can't hurt.
